Last updated: May 26, 2026. This is a plain-language terms-of-use document. We try to keep it short and clear; please read it once.
1. Agreement
By accessing or playing any game on games.passed.jp (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site. There is no account to delete; simply closing the tab is a complete withdrawal of consent.
2. The Service
The Site provides browser-based mini-games and supporting content, offered free of charge by Amazing engine Co., Ltd. ("we", "us", "our"). We may add, change, or remove games at any time without notice.
3. License to play
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and play the games on this Site for non-commercial personal use, subject to these Terms.
This license does not grant you the right to:
- Redistribute, sell, sublicense, or rent the games or any portion of the source code
- Embed the games on another website without our prior written permission (we may grant this freely for non-commercial use; just ask)
- Decompile, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract proprietary game logic for derivative commercial work
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to interact with the Site (other than well-behaved search engine crawlers respecting robots.txt)
- Tamper with, disable, or circumvent any security or ad-display feature of the Site
You may freely stream, record, share, screenshot, and discuss your own playthroughs on social media, YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, etc. Tag us or link back if you feel generous.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Site to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party
- Transmit malware, scripts, or other harmful code via any input field (note: there are virtually no input fields, but the rule applies if any are added)
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers, the games' state, or other users' devices
- Use the Site in a way that imposes an unreasonable load on our infrastructure
5. Intellectual property
All game source code, artwork, audio, design, copy, trademarks, and other content on the Site (the "Content") is owned by Amazing engine Co., Ltd. or used under license. The "passed.jp" name, the games-portal layout, and all original game designs are protected by copyright and trademark law.
Third-party assets used under permissive licenses:
- matter.js (used by FALLING MERGE) — MIT License
- Various font stacks (system fonts and free open-source fonts)
If you believe any content on the Site infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us via the contact page with sufficient detail to identify the work, the alleged infringement, and your authority to act.
6. User-generated content
The Site currently has no user-generated-content features — no chat, no forum, no comments, no user uploads. If we add such features in the future, separate community guidelines will apply.
7. Third-party services and ads
The Site displays advertisements served by Google AdSense and may use third-party services such as Cloudflare for delivery. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or external sites linked from our pages. Clicking an ad takes you to a separate site governed by its own terms and privacy policy.
See our Privacy Policy for details on advertising cookies and how to opt out.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and the games are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
We do not warrant that:
- The games will run on every browser, device, or operating system (we test on recent Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and mobile Safari/Chrome, but cannot guarantee compatibility with all configurations)
- The Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components
- Any defects will be corrected within any specific time
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Amazing engine Co., Ltd., its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Site or the games — including loss of profits, loss of data, loss of productivity (e.g., because you played one more round when you should have been working), or any other intangible loss.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed JPY 1,000 (one thousand Japanese yen), which is approximately the price of a coffee.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Amazing engine Co., Ltd. from any claim arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.
11. Changes to the games and the Site
Games may be added, removed, balanced, or significantly redesigned at any time. Your high score on a previous version of a game is not guaranteed to carry over after rebalancing. The Site itself may be modified, suspended, or discontinued in whole or in part at any time without notice.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Site at any time, without notice, for any reason — including for breach of these Terms. Since there are no user accounts, "termination" in practice means we may block your IP address or refuse to serve content to you. Sections 5, 8, 9, 10, and 13 survive termination.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be resolved exclusively in the Tokyo District Court (東京地方裁判所) as the court of first instance, unless mandatory law of your residence requires otherwise.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced on the home page for at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
15. Contact
For questions about these Terms, see the contact page.
